HA HA Draper fell victem to it as well. I voted him to be a hot shot and he pooped out big time. How ever I like the fact that itll be a higher scoring game and the concentrating on a players talent rather then weight and strength. I think that will benifit the Wings---BIG TIME!!!

Chelios got 2 minutes for finishing off his CHECK! wink.gif Take the good with the bad.

Wings through 4 games look like they will adjust, I think conditioning and not getting any major injuries to major players is going to be huge, teams can't go out a find a replacement for injured stars anymore. should be fun.

the Leafs and oh yeah they BLOW! are going to have more problems with sundin being out. ouch.

i wasn't a fan at the start of all the obstruction calls, but its seems the players are adjusting now.

should make for an interesting season
Runamuck

For years the NHL was saying they were gonna crack down on the obstruction and everything and when the season started they swallowed their whistles.

This season I think they're going a little overboard, maybe to get players to adjust and then hopefully they'll back off a little.

I'm all for getting rid of the clutching and grabbing but they need to be able to hit and push out there. Don't want it to turn into a ballet or anything.

I agree I think theyll lay off a little 3 or 4 weeks from now.

I agree with the above, although I do like the 2 line pass rule, and a better angle into the net... I don't need to see 10 goal games, but I like to see scoring CHANCES...

It's more fun to see scoring chances than it was to watch the wrestling match between the blue lines.

I like that fact that they don't use the red line anymore. Faster pace, more flow.

Hope everyone isn't too tired at the end of the season and into the playoffs cuz of it though.

As for the trapezoid behind the net, kinda mixed feelings, I've often enjoyed watching a goalie go into the corner to retrieve a puck and then watching the sorry bastards scrambling back to the net. laugh.gif
