Full Version: we were on the ice today.
me and sunshine went ice fishing this morning at are marina.2 inches of ice .at sunrise .the ice looked good ,but then came the wind .and the ice began to crack .so we went home .caught two fish but small.

2 inch's of ice are you crazy you and you old lady must like to play with DR Death, I would wait til it's at least 5" or more, if you were on a canal the weakest part of the ice would be at the seawall, then it would get thicker, But for a few dinlky fish

My brother and I use to take alot of chances, 4X8 sheets of plywood from the shore into the canal to spread the weight out and tie a rope around our waists to a tree to pull you in if you go through. Funny what you'll do when the fish are biting!! 
We would she who could walk to closest to the North Channel in High school for $5 each. We would walk down or canel ( by Sassy)
and fall threw all the time. Tought it was cool or going knee boarding with ice floating down the channel. we where very bored in a small town.

This is true. I was the same way. If I fell through the ice, it wasn't on purpose though. More like a "whoa shit" sort of situation.
