we checked out the trail last night no base yet all dirt If they get the 8" there calling for it might be good for a day or 2, Look out for the deer they like to walk down the trail.
I'm gonna plan on going Sunday to give it a run.

We Ran all the trails Yesterday The base is mostly snirt maybe 2" there is more snow in the open fields about 6" with bigger drifts in the corners. Sandusky Trail Head is all dirt. More snow North east towards Forester and forestville, Harbor beach has 10" on the ground Port Hope has 16" and Port Austin has 18"
Bad Axe 13" LOts of local trails up there to ride talk to the snowmobile deal in Bad Axe they will get directions to the local trails, that are in better shape they run thru more private land but the land owners wil let you ride if you respect there land.
