Mister Kay
A, B, and C are all public, B is seperatly owned, Duggins is seperate from C and they take reservations but you don't want to go there.

I love the Jet Express comment, the best part is that it is true!

We got stuck docking on the outside wall next to it one year and it was like welcome week of college every 45 mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I love those high school girls, I keep gettin older, they stay the same age!"

Why not Duggins? Being that we travel with little ones, we always go there and have never had a problem. Jim keeps us away from the ferry crowd and the golf cart goes straight to the boat. I just talked to Jim a couple of weeks ago and everything sounds the same. Something change or is it because of the ferry and the fact that Duggins isnt as "happening" for the party crowd?
Mister Kay
Your right, I just stated that wrong, I just meant that there is a much bigger party spot on the public docks, although Duggins is the best place to see the new people coming off of the jet. And Jim hooked us up one year when we got there too late and had no where to stay he let us stay at the end of the dock.

What does a newbie need to know before he leaves? What time to leave, what time to get there, etc...
Mister Kay
Depends what weekend it is, if you are going Memorial Day it's still not that busy there, and you can prob even get a spot saturday, but I would still try to leave Friday,a dn try to leave early so you don't have to run at night, as the river is a bitch and you also have to avoid the fishing nets.

Sidenote: How far down are those fishing nets, is there any possibility of snagging one btw bouys, or even if you get to close to the buoys???

You need to also bring cash and be prepared to have the best time of your life and meet new people, especially because you will be docking up and walking over boats to get to the dock.

They raft four off, so choose your spot wisely.

This is jsut one boat whores perspective; I usually only have to worry about making sure the Captain has a full drink and steer while he takes a piss. Other than that I listen to Buffet and get drunk for the 4.5 hour trip. biggrin.gif
